So, last night I set up a little prosperity space on my altar and made some related incense; this morning, my boss gave me 2 extra shifts, huzzah!
Spending my evening studying money/prosperity spells and making herbal blends, so Pete and I can raise the funds to finally get our own place.

With such a topic, it’s going to be a loooooong night.

My gorgeous Pete is going to get me some vodka on his way home from Krav, for the purpose of making tinctures

Yay, I’d buy it myself, but even though I’m 23, I have no ID and everyone seems to think I’m 16/17. >.<

Time for housework, and if I have enough time before the circus that is my family return, a spot of herbcrafting!
So guys…

What are your favourite books regarding the history of witchcraft and practice?
Unfortunately I no longer have access to my favourite, and cannot find a copy anywhere to replace it. I can see it in my mind, but cannot read the authors name. :(
I settled on The History of Witchcraft by Montague Summers as a close second, although I have yet to start reading it.
I much prefer books on the history and “backstory” of beliefs and practices, rather than “how to” books.

I really shouldn’t browse the Pagan and witchcraft tags so much.

Holy mother of llama-dung, so much fluff and misinformation! Especially all the “hurrdurr I r Wicca”.
